I am writing regarding my booking through your website. Due to an unexpected delay, I arrived at the rental desk one hour late.
The local supplier (Brent) refused to honor my prepaid reservation, despite the fact that I was present the same day.
I was forced to make a new booking at a much higher price in order to continue my trip.
As a result, I have been charged twice once for the original reservation, which I could not use, and again for the new reservation.
I understand that the booking conditions state no tolerance for late arrivals; however, I consider it unfair that no flexibility or partial refund was offered, especially since the vehicle was still available.
I kindly request that you review this case and consider refunding the original payment or at least a portion of it. I can provide all supporting documents and payment receipts.

I want to speak to somebody regarding scam at delivery rental car. I had a scratch on the car and they charged me 2100.
This is way higher than it should cost. They threatened me and my son if i not paid.

I do like discover cars, but I din't like international cars. The guy at the desk terrified me and told me that I had to take an insurance with them.
I told him that I had already an insurance with your company, but he told me a little scratch would cost me 500 euro's and that Discover Cars wouldn't pay the damage. I had to pay 475 euros for the second insurance.
And If a made a little scratch or got a flat tire etc. I wouldn't get my 1845 euro's back.

I made a reservation n D01004****, I paid 119,33 as requested, I received the prepayment receipt paid and the confirmation of my reservation n2693****.
I think I did everything necessary , yet I'm harassed by emails telling me that I have not finalized my reservation!!
What's going on? I have the confirmation of my reservation , I paid...
So why all these problems?

User's recommendation: First of all , thanks to pissed Customer , without them I would have been embarrassed !on the Discovercars there is no way to reach them neither email nor phone number.They is just a robot that answers standard questions.I got the support email by Pissed Consumer.From there I had someone in front of me who answered me.I was able to solve my problem.At discover cars the rental prices are attractives and consumer ratings are pretty good.So I made my réservation and paid the asking price.unfortunately once I made my reservation I received an email saying that my reservation was not finalized received it five times and each time I am told that the price has increased and that you have to pay much more!I wan't happy with the harassement system.that 's why I wanted to get in touch with Discoverers and know if my first réservation was valid and why I had all these harassement emails?The support replied that my first reservation was good and that I had to ignore all the other emails.Her's my story I hope I'll have a car when I arrive.Thank's again to Pissed Consumer...Regards, Gilles

Booked car hire in Cyprus with Discovery Cars. Added full cover insurance.
Received voucher with full coverage clearly marked. Opened the voucher when I picked up the car and was told I didn't have full coverage; the voucher had changed. After days and days of trying to email the support center, I got a reply from someone called Ruben saying the payment for full coverage didn't go through, but here is a link to add it now. So I followed the link and paid, expecting my new voucher to arrive.
It didn't. Emailed customer services again and again, to be finally told after they had taken my money that full cover insurance cannot be taken out as I had already picked up the car! Yet they sent me a link to add it!
Now they are refusing to refund me for the cover I never had. They are a disgrace.
Preferred solution: Full refund

I was renting a car and they said I had to pay insurance I paid for the insurance online and when I went to pick the car up, I had to pay another $300 because they say they dont use the online insurance. What is going on there?

Réclamation double paiement assurance complète
Au moment de la réservation nous avons payé 148 il nous restait 328 à payer mais on nous à de nouveau facturer une assurance complète alors que nous lavions déjà payé lors de la réservation ! Résultat nous avons payé 528+148= 676!! Sans compter que nous avons été victime d'une belle arnaque étant donné que nous navons pas eut le véhicule sélectionner et qui nous a coûter plus cher que ce qui était convenu!
